FOILING OUR PLANS

Hey everyone! It’s been a great weekend at PAX Unplugged and we’ve loved meeting lots of backers and showing off the D6 prototype! We love the excitement many have shown for the game, especially the reactions when seeing it in all its glory!

We had a great meeting (and dinner) with our manufacturer to discuss all the finer details of making D6 a reality. It was a nice surprise to get the foil packs, and we are really pleased with how they turned out. For those of you that got the Whole Kingdom (Greedy Bastard Sword) with the dice, you already get the Kraken and Eaters heroes, and many of you got the booster as well. If you didn’t get anything and would still like to, you can e-mail [email protected] and we can add it to your order. Not needed, hence the "moneygrab" email address, but still available nonetheless.

We travel back to Mississippi tomorrow, but we are anxious to get back to work and keep things moving.

Hey everyone!  As we wait for the game, we still get bits and pieces in the mail to keep us tracking along.  Our updates may be further apart these days, so we decided to give you something to bide the time.  Just think...if you make it to the end of this long-ass update video, we will be that much closer to getting the actual game in your hands! 

In true Certifiable fashion, time plus patience plus a li'l Anthony ingenuity leads to game quality perfection! As the title says...insert happiness here! 

Also, we will be traveling to Philadelphia for PAX Unplugged this week!  If you will be there, please come by our booth and say hello! We may even let you see the D6 prototype. If so, please...no drooling on the product! Just kidding. Drool away!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone (in the US), and Happy Thursday, everyone else! We hope you've had a great week so far.  As you all already know, we were always shooting to have D6 in your hands by the end of the year, but we missed that boat.  Luckily for us, there are other boats.  We've been in mass production for a month now and are anxiously awaiting, but we took advantage of some extra time to keep working on the book. Of all the components, the book itself is the quickest to produce (by quickest, I'm talking about the manufacturing; creating the book itself...not so much), and we are really excited about it. When starting the project, we quoted a 100 page book. But now that we are done, we are looking at over 180 pages.  I love it, but am trying hard to not think about all that extra shipping weight.  :)

So...where are we now?  Jesse and I often view (and say) things a little differently.  While he says "we will miss Chinese New Year", I say "don't worry, we are still going to avoid any additional delays caused by Chinese New Year, because we are being told our shipments will have set sail by then". We both mean the same thing, but still. In the end, we are looking realistically at a 3 month delay from our original December delivery date.  It hurts me to even type that, but that's the reality.  Getting everything moving across the oceans by mid January, we have to allot up to 45 days for transit, plus time for customs and the final haul to the distributors.  Once the distributors have them, they need a week or two to get everything in the system and start fulfilling.  This means for the US and Europe, we are shooting for mid to late March.  For Australia and Asia, we may be able to move a little more quickly due to shorter transit times, but not ready to promise anything.  What I can promise is we have done everything we can to give you the best quality game possible, and I am hopeful you'll understand and appreciate this delay once you get the game.  

For those of you that are going through address changes, you still have plenty of time to change. You can always go into your Backerkit pledge and change it anytime, but we will also be sending a last call reminder once the shipments have set sail to the distributors in January. So don't fret.  Also, this delay is allowing us to add to your order a little longer if you have any interest in doing so.  If so, just send your request to [email protected].  I'll do what I can to help you out. 

As always, we are incredibly thankful for all of you!  Your support makes the effort worthwhile, and we truly appreciate all your patience as we get D6 in your hands.
